down on his foot tile the visiting teachers convention for the grayson ward was held wednesday night at the home of president frieda hunt A large crowd of teachers relieved reci eved instructions from their relief society officers and from the bi hop ervin palmer in preparation for their winters work luella H rogers mabel W hurst and garda adams were i released sunday night at sacrament meeting as galbraith jr have moved tor to price for the winter douglas is working during the daytime and attending school at night A mr and mrs derby laws and small son are visiting with derbys parents mr and mrs wilford laws from their home in dallas texas they expect to be here for about ten days A daughter of mr mi and mrs wilford laws mrs donna hemingway and tw two small sons are here to spend a month at the laws home they left mr air hemingway teaching school at ely nevada mrs airs mary poole was called to grand junction last week to the bedside of her son john M who suffered a very serious heart attack recently the home of jos B harris has relieved reci eved a complete new white and red paint job in the last two weeks the sight lends quite an a air r of improvement to the neighborhood bo fred and delmarr helstrom are attending school at ft collins colorado this winter they are living in a neighborhood with a group of other young people who are attending college their nearest neighbor is a pollards are here to show off a brand new addition to their cami the blanding ward sponsored a dance friday night in honor of clyde harvey son of mr and hrs waldo harvey who is leaving for a mission carroli and she enjoys coming back quite often Elan cung has had a wonderful summer as tar lax as having water for lawns cawns gar gardens aeris and flowers is concerned this is the first summer that water could be used freely all summer long other years it was rationed toward thel the end of the summer and it has only been by careful planning and choosing the most important thing that gardens were saved and lawns kept kepi green this has all been made possible poss iole with the new pilline that was placed to get them the late laie summer water from the mountain there has never been so many or such beautiful flowers before there has never beena been EL greater abundance of fruit andl ancl the lawns are as green right now as they have ever been in thes the spring of course this wonderfully wonder fuh fulL condition is expensive but it is a joy anyway the landscaping at the bland ing ward has really made stride this summer and is beginning t make a very beautiful sight th 4 third plot of grass planted there is coming up and the late water supply has made it possible the are blooming as profusely now as they ever have this summer |
