Show monticello ward primary winter program completed A very successful winter of activities fr f r the officers teachers land and children of this wards primary classes is completed two good programs during the final week offered opportunity for expressing a few of the fine things learned throughout the season on sunday evening may 4 a short but delightful program depicted scenes and incidents from pioneer life at hole tn in the rock miss pearl walton wrote the dialogue and arranged all program material though there were but a few speaking parts every child in primary participated by helping with the especially fine singing of the musical numbers pioneer costumes were an added note of interest amateur night on the following friday evening was also a great success it began with a very cute portrayal of the pioneer costumes made by the mothers an dworn by all the children A description of all the many lovely ones shown would take too much time to give here but there were many outstanding ones then a variety of sixteen numbers were presented by the boys and girls ranging in age from 3 there were solos duets trios and tn in songs readings piano numbers and dramatizations beginning in june we will welcome everone back to commence a program of summer activities which will be just and fine and fun as what has gone before boys and girls well see you in primary in june |
