Show new regulations in effect on july the representatives of the state Depert deportment ment of agriculture met on wednesday with w ith karl R lyman the canty attorney alldre and requested him to advise the people of the community of the present regulation regarding the sale and handling of milk and butchering of livestock on and after this date the present laws regarding milk are to the effect that any cne selling or offering for sale raw milk that is milk not past prized uri zed is required by law to obtain from the state department of agriculture a permit to so sell are required further to have each milk cap labeled that it is raw milk of C grade and also the name and address of the person selling the milk they are required further to have a mechanical lid applicator it is not permissible to apply the lids by hand this ruling is in effect until july 1 1947 on and after that date it is required that all milk that is sold must be and so labeled to conform to the A grade grada milk laws of the state the agricultural representative further advised that all livestock killed for sale commercially must be killed in ar an accredited slaughter house any one violating the conditions of either of these regulations is liable for prosecution and thia notice is given to avoid any misunderstanding or by any one ane of ignorance of the law |
