Show I 1 funeral for blanding child I 1 by florence galbraith lh funeral services were held here 1 last saturday morning for mervyn robert brown who died wednes day in salt lake city where he had been taken to a specialist for the removal of a bean from his lung the services were held in the i blanding ward chapel with bp grant bayles in charge the opening song was by the choir D J rogers opened with prayer fol I 1 l wed with a vocal quartette by isephine aaron harvey platte lyman josephine bayles and alene may wasel washburn spoke followed ay a violin solo by joe hunt then counselor ama redd spoke after which allie platte and guen lyman sang a duet A R lyman then spoke and bp bayles offered closing remarks I 1 the choir sang another song and benediction was pronounced by president guy hurst at the cemetery the choir sang a song and ralph brown cd the grave pall bearers were uncles of mervyn woodrow aroe and ilo do brown and marion black mervyn is survived by his moth I 1 er mrs hattie bell brown and three grandparents mr and mrs azariah bi biown wn of blanding 1 and mrs minnie landcaster of bluewater N M mervyne Mervy ns father preceded him in death about three years ago mervyn was born july 19 1937 in blanding mrs brown has our deepest sympathy at this time A large crowd of friends turned out to the services and there were many beautiful flowers among those from out of town to attend the services were mrs browns mother and two brothers from arizona and mr and mrs I 1 joel norton and mr and mrs J wesley norton of monticello |
