| Show northdale Nort hdale by MARY V BRUMLEY mr and mrs J E wilson and sons robert and J E jr their daughter and husband mr and mrs loyce brickley and little son took friday and saturday of last week for an outing on the dolores river and on sunday the same party in company with some friends from texas by the name of mounts and mr and mrs carl delano and mr and mrs frosty thompson and family of dove creek enjoyed another outing visiting the ruins of the cliff dwellers on mesa verde rev mr christensen pastor of the community church of dove creek was taken seriously ill friday of last week and is now in a hospital in albuquerque where he was to undergo an operation this week we are informed that the old hotel building formerly operated by mr and mrs wm win orr but ot of late owned by allen alien moore has been sold to a man by the name of cf chloe hendricks who will put in a restaurant there mr and mrs moore and daughter arenov are moving this week to cortez where evelyn will enter school mr and mrs albert and daughters dora and irene ot of cedar point foint stopped over in in northdale Nort hdale last saturday as they were going to and coming from monticello where they went for med medical ical aid lor for irene wh wha was suffering from an overindulgence over indulgence in eating green apples commissioner J B R decker was down from mesa verde saturday and sunday looking after his wheat harvest mr and mrs clay mock of blanding were northdale Nort hdale visitors last friday afternoon dove creek high and grade schools commenced monday of this week with registration day pupils attending from coal bed district are lloyd crapo robert shutt and J E wilson in the high school and joyce shutt and kenneth and frankie goforth in the grades mr and and mrs robert pfouts of farmington N M were north dale callers thursday of last week as they were en route to salt lake mr and mrs J E wilson accompanied compa nied their son robert wh who has been visiting them for the past week to cortez on monday morning there he took the bus for san francisco returning to his service with uncle sams air force in which he is an airplane mechanic mr and mrs robert gift have moved from ucolo bucolo into one of the northdale Nort hdale cabins C H webb and son of dolores were northdale Nort hdale callers monday mrs chas fidler and mrs F A wilkins of lockerby were north dale callers monday afternoon this writer was a dinner and afternoon guest last sunday in the hospitable home of mr and mrs D B hunter in dove creek |
