| Show names are added to honor roll plaque the labor day dance sponsored by the fine arts club to raise funds for the honor roll service plaque attracted many of i the young folks and some soma cf ca the older residents of the town on monday evening it held in the monticello school with the blanding orchestra furnishing the music I 1 betty jensen entertained a group of her friends at a dinner party preceding the dance these young ladies are without escorts these days since all of the young men are in the service and it happened there were none at home on furlough I 1 who would have enjoyed this dance since it was given to raise caise money to put additional names on the honor roll service plaque which is about to be placed in the foyer of the court house the case is installed and the additional names have been inserted on the plaque fluorescent lighting will be added t throw light ight on the names there is space for more names and these will be included from time to time the matinee dance for the younger children was also successful with elva jones in charge of arrangements the net results for both dances after deducting cost ost of rental for auditorium and the music although small will help toward cost of adding the names that came in since the dedication dedi catin of the plaque pla que several months ago the bronze name plates cost 45 cents each and there are now of them mounted on the plaque |
