Show bluff by PAULINE HAYES n mr and mrs elvin have moved to the young ranch north of blanding where they have em lP nent for the summer thaniel L hayes and mrs alice powell made a business trip to blanding wednesday robert wise has returned from his duties as caretaker of the WL W L ranch and will resume farming activities here mr and mrs claude powell of blanding visited friends frends and relatives in town wednesday miss bertha horton mrs eva johnson anil and clarence johnson drove to monticello on business friday mr and mrs uriah nielson spent the latter part of the week in blanding visiting relatives the jay L powell family moved to blanding saturday having resided in bluff for years they osibe be greatly missed by those of t remain here miss marjean butt of Blan blanding dingi was a guest at the uriah butt home over the weekend week end clarence perkins and mr and mrs ray young and family stopped in town a few minutes on saturday en route rente to the young sheep camp several blanding residents came down to fish sunday mrs ethel gave a dinner sunday for her father john oliver mrs john oliver and olin oliver the occasion being mr olivers birthday mr oliver is our oldest resident and the community joins in wishing him many happy returns of the day mr and mrs rube allen alien and family of moab visited at the home of mrs allens aliens father john oliver sunday afternoon mr and mrs C C key were calling on the C E hall robert jones and roy woods families on sunday the albert hall cecil hall and sam gullett families were business callers at dolores monday albert looking at a tractor and mr gullett seeing about buying a used car the writer has had charge of the summit point post office since sept 2 1924 and this winter was the first when no trips were made with horses but we missed receiving mail service five or six mail days |
