| Show ward relief society bazaar to attract many people to monticello next friday A matinee performance for the little folks will be featured at in the afternoon Exe endive Asive preparations are underway for the annual ward relief society bazaar which will be held in the L D S church next friday november although the main program and sale will not be featured un tu 13 t ip P in a matinee for childr will begin at in the afternoon a at t which time santa claus will greet the children and will talk to them about christmas A childrens dance will be presented and another attraction will be the fish pond ice i cream pop corn and candy will be on sale and a general good time for far the kiddies will mark the afternoon program at 7 p m the evening program will begin with a grand march and special numbers by the monticello high school band choral singing of christmas songs by the singing mothers I 1 and a greeting by the relief society 1 president the sale will start at and as result of the plans now underway there is eveia indication that everything from dainty handmade hand made articles and practical christmas gifts to confectionery cakes and other good things to eat will be on sale the xmas gift booth will be an outstanding center of attraction where gifts for all members of the family in including eluding useful gifts for the men folks will be on sale A special feature will be the drawing to be held when everything in this booth is r sold and the holder of a lucky ticket will be presented with a beautiful wool filled silk bed quilt the plan is as follows aith lents ith each single purchase of or more a numbered ticket will be given and a duplicate number will be placed in a box for the later drawing the committee in charge of this booth wish to announce that the holder of the first number drawn must be present to receive the special award and in case of absence a second drawing will be made in order that the presentation may be made the same ruling applies to the second or to following numbers to be drawn in the event of absence of tb the e b holder 10 ider of the first or following numbers as drawn n A general utility booth will feature aprons hand made fancy wark and garments for women a hildren ice cream pop c cand I candy will be on sale at th the ere refreshment freshment booth dreissen arr Dr eissed sed chickens also will be sold from start to finish annual bazaar will be filled with attractive opportunities for enjoyment and for christmas shopping keep the date and the hours lor for the afternoon and evening programs in mind and come prepared to have a good time |
