Show iw X I 1 W tog al I 1 x x x x x dear friends Every once again I 1 address these lines to you this time from a scene uila different from that ot of last week in so far as ag the landscape is concerned for we are just recovering from rom one of the most severe storms experienced this his or last winter that is a greater amount of snow has fallen and the drifts piled up in such manner as to make it necessary for us to abandon our trips to the outermost point tor for the two recent evening meetings you see out on this open desert coli country when the wind blows i sweeps everything in its path with it and the snow Is of such light substance that it soon piles up on our roadway making it well nigh impassable for a car and nd less comfort abe for foot travel so wo we are thank tul ful for the shelter of our cabins until such time as we may resume our ur regular habits of living again 1 day time travel is not so bad for the sun warms waring up the atmosphere and nd it is glorious to be out in these I 1 days of sparkling weather but the nights are so cod that it seeing as if we might be up at the north pole find and again our cars suffer even more than do we I 1 the beauty of this storm is another j thing to talk about but the people I 1 bereal bouts are likewise because of the added moisture to their land which is is so BO much needed as a result of the extreme drought aoe last year it is a peculiar pc cular thing how these extremes in weather occur for when it is cold it if is almost impossible to believe that the therin om 1 eters can register as biow as they do and within twelve hours soar to a high point and then back again however they do the same thing in the summer time registering the other extreme of heat beat we are arc subject to here but as we hk have vetold told you be I 1 tore fore it Is always alwais possible to find a R cool place in summer in this high altitude and so is it equally hie ble to keep warm now mow with the abundance of wood our faithful men are cutting and making ready for use and so life goei goes on in much the same way and when we cannot meet a group at the outermost point w we conduct our separate meetings each in our respective places ances for one of our main interests now Is to prepare ourselves for the greater work ot of the future and we spend many happy hours I 1 iii closer association in this manner m inner las as afe corns together for study of the recorded messages and for or the purpose of planning future work once again we send our united LOVE out ot to you vou from this point and from the tennessee fennessee land where another faithful one is trying to carry out his part in the divine plan under the greatest ol of handicaps in a material way but in so doing he Is learning some valuable lessons too even as we have learned them in this the western community although thighs seem to be retarded there for th the e moment due to changed plans on the part of the family who have worked so hard bard and faithfully over a period of months we KNOW that things that seem not right WILL BE MADE RIGHT and in the meant meantime we who w he are left wl wib 1 carry on in in order that those who will come later will find at least one there and a goodly number here to extend the hand of welcome my LOVE goes out ot especially to our faithful leider leader in the tennessee land and I 1 take this way of thanking him publicly for his loyalty and faithfulness sincerely and gratefully gi wl L Y rn gajta |
