I 1 m JUAN OIL recently we ve met people at bluff kluft and learned something there about tho the road work now progressing down south bouth on tile the indian reservation south of the san juan river A four mile stretch of sand Is now being khaled over on the road south of mexican hat for letting the products of the oil wells out to arizona harry goulding and john taylor are 1 doing the truck work and W E the oil operator and associates are paying the cost of making this 4 mile sandy stretch a good truck road but road work Is not all of it in fact that la Is insignificant compared with the oil now flowing and ready for mar ket at the wells they are raft refining I 1 g nr only on a small scale possibly t ten a n b barrels per day but it Is not cracked aa gas no it Is the kind they use in airships airship about 75 carbon the other oils are not refined the wells are so near the arizona line and this road work actually in arizona that utah does not seem much concerned it if oil in such quan ity and structures so little developed were ere found in n the more utah part of of utah the state press would havo have been telling about it big stories lots of news however this Islat lon of southeastern utah is not permanent oil gold ample farm land and water for it will make us known for more than the basic industry livestock and that only means that cattle and sheep will make more money ranges acome more valuable
