Show BOWLING The Palm team of the Ladies Forest League at the Southeast Bowling Courts is leading the league with 12 points won and 4 lost, while Pine, Elm and Sycamore Syca-more teams press closely with a tie at 11 won and 5 lost. The Pine team had high series and game last week, taking the honors with 2012 and 717. It was Nancy Nes-len Nes-len who made an excellent individual indiv-idual showing for the morning's play with her 516 high series and 109 high score. The Southeast league is topped by Dee's Hamburger and Bar-nett Bar-nett and Weiss in a tie, and three other teams are tied for second place, making the play an interesting inter-esting fight. Scores continue high, Barnett and Weiss having 2889 for high series, and Central Lumber rolling 1016 for high game. Bill Ward, who will bear watching for excellent play this season, came through with 641 for high individual series, and he was closely followed by G. Slug with 636. Frank Swenson had high game of 246. Birrell Bottling team holds first place in Southeast League, and Caldwell's C-Lect Market has moved into second spot, winning 4 points and high series o 2687 for the week's play, and S. H. Abrahamson was high individual with 641. Bill Swan had a 630 series with 243 for the night's high game, while Walt Fellows came through with a 623. The Lumberman's League was paced last Week by the U. S. Gypsum Gyp-sum team with 2552 high series. Utah Pigion Club continued to hold top spot in the lea- gue, however, and howled 909 for high single game. D. Fullmer's 571 was good for high series and Ray Gillbert had 226 for high game. The Cardinal Ladies League had Utah Health Clinic and South east Bowling Courts tied for first place, closely followed by Mich-els Mich-els Roofing. The Southeast team smashed the maples for a record 2333 high series including 812 for high game. Novella Bertram rolled a nice 555 series and Esther Trousdale had 20S for the week's high prime. Lyle Ruff too!; individual high series in this week's ?i!gnrhoi:?e Major League. He had 644. while H. Goodro rolled 600 with higt game of 244. Goodro's score help ed Fashion Cleaners to take A points and high series of 2751 but the Sugar Bowl rolled P5S for high game. Granite Mill.
