Show Provo Canyon TIIAR'S GOLD IN THEM THAR FISH There are fish and fish up Provo Pro-vo canyon. No need for any Izaac Walton to go home empty handed, either, unless he insists they're not biting in the Mighty Provo river, for if he'll stop at Harry's and Benny's, he can find 38 varieties of piscatorial pisca-torial life. Harry and Benny Gagon began to raise tropical fish as a hobby many years ago. But with spawning, egg laying and the like, they now have one large aquarium filled, two of lesser size in use strictly as maternity wards or whatever the equivalent for that is in fish talk. Red fish, black fish, red and black fish, black and white fish, fish that glow like neon signs, striped fish, long fish, flat fish, fat fish, snakey fish, and snails abound in the Gagon aquaruim, and all are hungry. Harry makes his own fish food culture using yeast and several vitamins and such, and the little fish grow to big little fish in no time at all, each as hungry as the next, and all as pretty as can be. Mating and watching out for the egg-laying or the spawning time is almost full time work, Harry says, as he plays midwife or mid-fish to the little mothers and the speck-sized speck-sized young Visitors to the Gagons' resort almost al-most forget what they've stopped for when they get fascinated with the finny little folk, each of which has his own habits and movements - except at meal time when all fish are the same they'll bite at the drop of a yeasty worm. DON'T BE a drip when painting. paint-ing. Here's an easy way to keep the can clean, says the Devoe Home Decorating Institute. Drive several nail holes into the lip of the can so that the paint flows back when the brush is wiped on the can edge. |
