Holladay under the direction of Mr. Bertel Bunker, Pres. of the Business Men's Assoc. turned out on Thursday, May 3rd to sweep the streets of Holladay. Firemen Fire-men also were at work washing the streets, while the Holladay Elementary School band played for them. This was in connection connec-tion with the campaign waged by the Associated Garden Clubs of Utah, known as the "Litterbug Drive" in an effort to keep our state cleaner. Mrs. Stanford Stoddard Stod-dard is general chairman. The Holladay Lady Lions presented pre-sented a musical Friday evening at the home of Mrs. George L. Crowther, 2735 Wren Rd. Mrs. Bertell Bunker presented a musical on life and music of Paderewski. Mrs. Cecil B. Jacobsen presided pre-sided and Mrs. J. Archie Aldous was program chairman assisted by Mrs. D. A. Osguthorpe, Mrs. M. D. Stratton, Mrs. Viola N. Livingston and Mrs. Alex Adom-son. Adom-son. Daughters of members were guests.
