Show WILLIAM PENH William Penn school held its first P-TA meeting Wednesday at the school, Mrs. Nathan B. Hale, president, announced. The program gave a look at the school work for the coming year, as described by Mrs. J. Lee Anderson, principal. Parents visited the rooms and the teachers explained about the child's daily activities, giving the general objectives of each subject taught. Parents joined the discussion, and after the meeting refreshments refresh-ments were served. The William Penn P-TA is now fully organized and all offices are functioning. It recently completed a very successful membership drive under direction of Mrs. Douglas C. Keller Kel-ler and Mrs. Herman J. Jensen. A total of 528 memberships were sold and 330 families participated out of a total of 414 families represented rep-resented in the school. |
