Show UTAH TALENT CONTEST SET Student clubs of Olympus high school will present their annual Titan talent show the evenings of Nov. 2 and 3 at 8 p.m. at the school auditorium. Nearly all the student associations associa-tions will participate in skits, musicals mu-sicals and dancing numbers. Each production will have an element of surprise since the students have been preparing their productions in secret. Also contributing to the program will be the band, choir and orchestra of the school. The Olympus Titan talent trophy will be awarded to the club with the best and most original act by contest judges according to the rating system worked out the past two years. Sponsoring the annual event are Lions clubs and auxiliaries of Holladay, Hol-laday, East Mill Creek, Forest Hills, Cottonwood and Highland Center as well as American Legion Post 71, its auxiliary, and Holladay Holla-day Commercial club. General chairman is Alex Adamson. Student faculty advisers are Carlos Car-los Asay, Kenley Whitelock and Ormon Weight. Admission will be by $1 tickets for adults and 50c tickets for stu- dents. A special $2 family ticket also s being offered which entitles the entire family seats and is good for either night. Funds raised at the review will be used to complete purchase of the school's band uniforms and the remaining proceeds will go toward lighting for the football field or toward a school swimming pool fund. |
