Show GRANITE CHIEFS HONORED WITH AFFAIR The Libby Edwards school was the scene of the recent banquet honoring the principals of Granite Gran-ite school district and executives of the Granite council of Parent and Teachers. The roster of distinguished guests included Mrs. H. Cecil Baker, state president of the Utah P-TA congress; Lee R. Frey, regional re-gional director of the Salt Lake and Granite districts; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wood. Mrs. Wood is the immediate past president of the Granite district council. Also present were Mrs. William J. Naylor, president of the teachers' teach-ers' association of Granite district; Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tobler, principal's princi-pal's representative for Granite council. The theme of the meeting was "School Daze" with the attention of the guests drawn to a bulging bulg-ing school house teeming with toy children. The theme was further carried out in the favors which were blackboards inscribed with the guests' names." Earl Hansen was chairman of the program. |
