Show Richard L. Evans Chosen Rotary District Governor Richard L. Evans of the Salt Lake Rotary Club was elected governor of District 165, Rotary International at the convention in Ogden, Monday. The new governor will be installed in-stalled as district governor at the Rotary International Conference Confer-ence in Philadelphia in June. Attending the conference from the Sugar House club were Dr. J. Poulson Hunter, Gordon Sor-ensen, Sor-ensen, Holger Larson, Joseph Jenkins, Dr. Stan Child, Albert E. Hibberd, Willard B. Richards, Jr., John Cahoon, N. D. Thatcher Thatch-er and Winston Thatcher. J. Gordon Sorensen, prominent, southeast area business man, secretary-treasurer of the South East Furniture Co., was named president of the Sugar House Rotary Ro-tary Club Thursday. Mr. Sorensen has served in the club in other offices including that of vice president the past year, and has also been prominent in Chamber of Commerce committees. commit-tees. He succeeds Dr. J. Poulson Hunter. At the club's annual election meeting, held at the Beau Brummel, other officers elected were Dr. Stanley R. Child, vice president; Holger M.
