Show PIZZA OVEN OPENS DOORS The "Pizza Oven," serving superlative super-lative Italian pizza, opened its doors at 872 East 21 South the first of the month. Doyle Plott and his wife, Janet, will greet old friends in the new business from 4 to 12 p. m. during the week and until 2 a. m. Saturdays. Sat-urdays. The Plotts lived in Miurray until moving to Denver three and one half years ago. Vacationing in the city last spring, they found there was not a strictly pizza pie restaurant res-taurant in the city, and decided to return to their former home and open one. Before returning, they shopped around in the many pizza restaurants res-taurants in Denver and decided on a recipe which is famous at Carl's. Pizza is something new in the community and Salt Lakes are not too familiar with it. It can be a complete meal or served as a snack and at the Pizza Oven it can be ordered to take out. Lights, Italian murals and hanging hang-ing grapes will complete the atmosphere at-mosphere for the eating place. He chose the Sugar House locale for its attraction to people and its many parking areas, and at his particular location there is one east of the building. Dayle's father will assist in the business as do two Italian waitresses. |
