Show New Manager Of Seagull Drug Sets Grand Opening Sat. Mr. E. G. Bennett, who purchased pur-chased the Seagull Drug from Grant Midgley last February, announced an-nounced the grand opening of the remodeled business for Saturday, August 18th. Bennett, a native son of the city, returned to take over the business from Boise, Idaho where he was with a wholesale drug firm for several years. Since taking over the store he has remodeled the interior and the entrance. A lunch counter, much needed in the immediate vicinity of Sugar House, has made an attractive at-tractive addition to the place of business. The grand opening will offer many worthwhile specials to the housewives, and there also will be valuable gifts presented and youngsters will receive the always welcome ice-cream cones and drinks. Bennett is a graduate of the University of Utah and returning to make his future business and home in the area is only "coming back home." He with his wife, Majorie and three daughters, Sharlene, Joanne and Michaele, make their home at 21st South and 26th East. |
