Show Furniture's Finest On Exhibition In Suar House Sugar House furniture stores are decorating their windows with new merchandise to take part in the fall Home Fashion Show set for Wednesday, September 30. Christiansen Furniture will be showing ultra modern pieces in latest fabrics and new wood tones. Dick Christiansen said it would show much in new wrought iron styles. South East Furniture company announced an evening of entertainment enter-tainment was planned for their customers. For those who wish answers to home planning problems, prob-lems, the home planning center will be open for their convenience. Fall fashions in the store feature the modern, traditional, provincial and contemporary. All participating stores will be open from 7 to 11 p. m. to display dis-play the very latest trends in furniture furni-ture and more the $6000 in prizes will be awarded in the statewide limerick contest. J. Gordon Sorensen is a member of the committee in charge of the state furniture fashion event. At Granite an ultra modern bedroom bed-room suite of ebony and white formica for-mica tops has been ordered especially espe-cially for the show. The outstanding outstand-ing suite was shown at the Grand Central Home Furniture Show. Granite was chosen as one of an exclusive 40 furniture companies in the United States to show this particular suite. Along with the beautiful Drexel furniture, Sugar House patrons will be invited also to view the current art show at the Nilson Fine Furniture store. Obtained by Mrs. Genevieve Lawrence especially for the show are many outstanding paintings by local and distant artists, art-ists, among which are many who are nationally known and famous. Early American will be shown at Forsey's on Highland Drive. Featured at Rockwood are the new "Sun Dome" modern lamps and living room furniture. The official opening of the new Holland Furniture store in Sugar House will be the evening of the fashion show. Contemporary, modern mod-ern and period furniture will be shown in the new store. |
