Show CONDUCT RITES FOR FATHER OF PAUL L. PEIIRSO'I Funeral services were conducted Monday for Nels Frank Pehrson, 70, Salt Lake -county deputy sher-ff sher-ff at Magna, who died Thursday. Pehrson was active in the LDS church where he served as a high priest in the Pleasant Green ward, and a member of the Magna culinary culi-nary water board. He had been deputy sheriff since 1930. He had resided in Magna for the past 47 years. He was the father of Paul L. Pehrson, former president of Sugar House chamber of commerce and owner of the Pehrson Hardware cnmnanv. A native of Aarhus, Denmark, he was born January 6, 1883, a son of Nels and Ellen Pehrson. He came to the United States as a boy of 8. On November 15, 1905, he married Estella Little in Teton Basin, Idaho, the marriage later being solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS emple. Surviving are his widow; sons, Frank L. and Paul L. Salt Lake, and Rulon, Rexburg; also six sisters. sis-ters. Services were conducted in the Pleasant Green ward chapel, and burial was in Salt Lake City cemetery. |
