Show Spragiie Branch Llbr Uth Eait city Editorial 1 Death this week ended the patient, uncomplaining long H suffering of the city judge of Park City. B He passed away unsung and little known as the world B heralds great men, but beloved and honored by his folks and E friends. B His stout heart stopped only after an heroic battle against I insurmountable odds a battle that amazed medical men and I cheered those so close to him. I His will and his spirit never broke and his ready smile, I eventhough he was in great pain, belied his sorry plight. z j Of good humor and kindly nature, he had no enemies even- j though his administration of justice many times must have I seemed hard. He held no malice and none was ever harbored m toward him. B He and his good wife brought into this world a fine family Jj of 11 children, ten still living credits to their fine parentage. n He "walked the hill" for long and tedious years to provide g food and shelter for his large family never once considered H a burden as his health slowly failed and the years and the 9 rarified air of Park City took their toll. I He talked but little, seldom employing the first person singular, yet without his saying it, you knew he did things, the many everyday little things that make men big. His name was Eddie Evans. We were priviledged to know E him well. M He was our brother. K |
