Sorensen home, 3000 Connor St., were the setting for a lovely reception re-ception for the Sugar House Business Busi-ness and Professional Women's club, a fitting" prelude to its fall activities. Miss Elizabeth Mitchell, president; presi-dent; Mrs. Marcella Finlay, state president; Miss Ada Burt, state vice president, and other Sugar House officers, Mrs. John C. Akers, Mrs. Wallace E. Anderson, Mrs. Gail Elyea and Mrs. K. G. Anderson, Ander-son, formed the receiving line. Special guests were Mrs. Earl J. Glade and Mrs. Horace A. Sorensen. The highlight of the evening's program was a tour through the historical Sons of Utah Pioneers' Museum. H. A. Sorensen, president of the National Society of the Sons of Utah Pioneers, who has been instrumental in obtaining and building the museum, showed the group through and gave interesting interest-ing narration on the many collections. collec-tions. Webber and Mrs. Ellis Peeler; Mrs. A. C. Peterson, hospitality hos-pitality chairman, assisted by Mrs. Dixie Bomheart and Mrs. Rex L. Barton. A musical program was arranged and conducted by Mrs. Ray M. Christiansen; refreshments were in charge of Mrs. Peeler, Mrs. G. |
