Show TRAVELERS Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madsen just returned from California where he has been in encampment with the ROTC. They were accompanied by Mrs. Alma Cottom and her four children who spent two weeks on the coast. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Sorensen and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wheatley flew in the South East Furniture company plane to attend the Bache musical in Carmel. They returned Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Call have just returned to their home on Connor St. after a wonderful two months in Europe. Back at their home at 1956 Claremont Way are Mr. and" Mrs. M. Vern Woodhead and children, Ronald and George, who enjoyed a two week trip to Calfornia. Their journey took them by way of Las Vegas where they spent three days and the California tour included Long Beach, San Diego, LaJolla and Laguna Beach. Joan Naylor and Carol Ann Wis-comb Wis-comb left this week for Palmyra, ' N. Y., where they will participate in the LDS pageant August 11, 12 and 13. Mrs.'W. T. Naylor and Mrs. W. N. Beesley will leave August 8 to join the girls in Palmyra. Following the pageant production produc-tion the foursome will tour the east including New York City, Washington, D. C, and return via Nauvoo, 111., Carthage, Mo., and other LDS church historical spots. Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Poe and children, Clare and Bobby, 1427 Westminster, returned from a vacation va-cation in the middle west. While there Poe attended the junior chamber of commerce national na-tional convention. |
