Heiner, 22, son of Mrs. Edna Heiner, 1942 S. Third E. Salt Lake City, recently was graduated from tre Infantry School's basic infantry officers course at Fort Benning, Go. Lieutenant Heiner is a 1955 graduate of the University of Utah. Pvt. Theodore G. Weidow, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore G. Weidow, 1340 S. Tenth E., recently re-cently was graduated from the Army's Southeastern Signal Schol at Fort Gordon Ga. He competed the school's ten-week ten-week power equipment maintenance mainten-ance course. The course trained him to install, operate and service ser-vice motor driven signal equipment. equip-ment. Army Pvt. Emanuel G. Poly-chronis, Poly-chronis, son of Mr. and Mrs. George T. C. Dickenson is an aidman in the Medical Detachment of the division's divi-sion's artillery. The 1954 East High School graduate entering the Army in January 1955. Paratrooper Specialist Third Class Jesse G. Jackson, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse G. Jackson, Jack-son, 1895 Gunderson lane, is scheduled to jump during Exercise Exer-cise Arctic Night 931 miles from the North Pole later this week. Specialist Jackson is assigned to Company E of the 82d Airborne Division's 504th Regiment at Fort Bragg, N. C, as a supply specialist. special-ist. The 1953 Granite High School graduate entered the Army in February and completed basic training at Fort Ord, Calif. Pvt. Charles H. Winters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Win- . ters, 4157 S. Seventh E, is receiving re-ceiving basic combat training with the 8th Infantry Division at Fort Carson Colo. The twenty-one year old soldier entered the Army in February of this year. Winters is a former employee of Interstate Brick Company; Salt Lake City. He was graduated gradu-ated from Granite High School in 1952. |
