Show Queen Committee Opens Contest For Days of '47 Pageant The first meeting of the "Queen's Committee, Days of '7 got off to an enthusiastic start Wednesday morning. Mrs. R. W. Morrison, General Chairman, presided pre-sided and Mrs. Kate B. Carter, president of the Utah Daughters of Pioneers also attended as advisor ad-visor to the committee. Applications from contestants for queen are now being received. The contest is open to all young women between the ages of 18 and 25 inclusive who are descendants descen-dants of a Utah Pioneer -who arrived ar-rived in the valley prior to May 1869. Composing the committee are Mrs. Alan G. Mann, Mrs. J. J. Porter, Mrs. F. O. DuPont, Mrs. E. J. Wignal, Mrs. W. C. Parkinson, Parkin-son, Mrs. Don V. Tibbs, Mrs. H. A. Seiter, Mrs. Wm. J. Askew, Mrs. O. S. Christiansen, Mrs. Jessie Jes-sie P. Hanson, Mrs. Norman Fors-berg, Fors-berg, Mrs. C. Nelson Day, Mrs. Joseph Jacobs, Mrs. J. Arthur Wood. Mrs. William DeReus and Mrs. S. J.
