Show JAMBOREE TRIP AWARDED TO BOY SCOUT Charles ' Whitney of Holladay First LDS ward was named winner for annual awards at the July court of honor held by the Cottonwood Cotton-wood Boy- Scouts Sunday evening. His prize is the coveted expense-free expense-free trip to the Boy Scout international inter-national jamboree at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Teddy Alberico of South Cottonwood Cotton-wood ward wcm second place and was awarded a trip down the Colorado Colo-rado river, which will extend eight days. Among the runners-up were Ben Cline and Newell Reynolds who tied for third place; Ralph Cromer, Kenneth Godfrey, Paul Hollbrook, Terry Morby, Heber Lloyd, Ray Smith and Bruce Golson. The court of honor was held at Cottonwood First ward meeting house and was presided over by Merlin Shaw, stake scoutmaster. Don Archer is advancement chairman chair-man of the organization. |
