Show LAMAR BUCKHER SPEAKER "We should all work to build our country and ourselves both spiritually and mentally for the role of leadership which we are called to play," E. LamaV Buckner told the Sugar House Rotary luncheon lunch-eon Thursday. In a speech which sparkled with humor, Mr. Buckner pointed out that whenever a great civilization has fallen, it has first become rotten within, and it behooves the civic minded individual to become a better citizen and to help others become better citizens to keep our nation strong. Mr. Buckner is president of the junior chamber of commerce for the state of Utah. He reminded the Rotarians that the best way to insure in-sure good government was to study election issues and candidates, then to go to the polls and vote. |
