Show BENNION TALKS TO S. II. LIONS Dr. M. Lyman Bennion was guest speaker at the Sugar House Lions club dinner Monday evening. Other features of the program were musical numbers by Henry W. Richards Jr. and a biographical sketch of Larry Oborn by L. Reed Fairbanks. Two new members, Edward C. Hitchcock, First Security Bank, and A. C. Peterson, Bank Jewelry, were Introduced. Lion Grant Thatcher was appointed ap-pointed to the annual show committee; com-mittee; Russell Crocket was made chairman of the athletic and greet-er greet-er committee; Edward Hitchcock assigned the boys and girls committee, com-mittee, and A. C. Peterson with the interclub and United Nations committee. Dean Andrus replaced John E. Ganan on the Lions information committee. Victor Jackman replaced re-placed Ken Neeley on the music committee, and' Dr. Joseph O. Brewerton will act as chairman of the sight and conservation committee. com-mittee. The group met at a smorgasbord on Highland Drive. Ladies night will be held Monday, Mon-day, November 30, at Memory Grove. |
