Show HILLSIDE DEDICATION HELD Dedication ceremonies for the rambling new Hillside junior high, 1835 Nevada St., were held Thursday Thurs-day evening. Glenn V. Culp, member of the board, was the principal speaker. Others participating on the program pro-gram were Mrs. Reed W. Brinton, president of the Parent-Teacher Association; Frank S. Allen, principal; prin-cipal; Leon Miller, planning engineer engi-neer in the board's building and grounds department, and Lowell Parrish, architect. Virgil H. Smith, board member, offered the dedicatory prayer. Dr. M. Lynn Bennion, superintendent of the city schools, introduced the speakers. A tour of the new building, which includes 29 classrooms, a gymnasium, gymna-sium, cafeteria, auditorium, library, audio-visual room, teachers room and administrative office, was en- I joyed by the group. Refreshments I were served. |
