Show OOFS' BASEBALL LEMGE GETS OrSDERYJAY Baseball practices, interrupted by the winter flurry, will resume for the Cops Baseball league teams Saturday. The Sugar House cops team, sponsored by Cottonwood Dairy-will Dairy-will have its same players. May 1 teams will be chosen with every star of last year's Cops' league on hand along with several ex-little league aces. Managers from southeast district will draw their players from the southeast group of boys and the big league team practices of buying buy-ing players will be used. All managers man-agers will bid by points for players. play-ers. Sponsors for the Southeast are: Moose Lodge, detective team, George Cates, youth bureau; Cottonwood Cot-tonwood dairy, Sugar House; Christensen Machinery, record bureau. There will be eight practice sessions ses-sions and a boy must attend at least half of the number to be eligible to belong to the league. Teams will be organized with 14 io group with 7 from each age group and the league will be ready for games by June 1st. |
