Show WESTMINSTER SYMPHONY HOLDS CONCERT The first concert presented by Westminster College's Community Symphony orchestra was given to a capacity audience in the First Presbyterian church Sunday. Kenneth Kuchler, assistant concert con-cert master of the Utah Symphony orchestra, and William Bushnell, chairman of the fine arts division at Westminster, director of the orchestra. Soloists for the concert was Mary Lou Singleton, talented soprano so-prano and soloist at the First Baptist Bap-tist church, and Anna Marie Salerno, Saler-no, violinist. Miss Singleton sang two selections, "La Campinera" by Benedict and "L' Amero Saro Cos-tante" Cos-tante" by Mozart. The orchestra was organized in September and has about 50 members. |
