Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bund It was quite a day for babies on Sunday over at church. There were five wee ones to be given names The NORMAN JENSEN'S chose DENNIS DAY for their new little son. MR.! and MRS. DONAL ROUNDY se-lected se-lected DONAL REID for their son. The son of MR. and MRS. JOHN GARTH CH ATHERLY i was named STEVEN CRAIG. ' The CLYDE S. DUNKLEYS chose CRAIG SHELLEY DUNKLEY for their wee one.' OTo break the monotory there I was one tiny girl. JUDY DIANE, the little daughter of MR. and MRS. STANLEY M.I BUTTS. Two boys and a girl were confirmed members of the , church. LARRY PAUL KNUD-! SON, son of MR.' and MRS.1 PAUL K N UD S O N; RALPH CHARLES WAKELY JR.. son of MRS. R. C. WAKELY; and1 JANET FISHER, daughter of MR. and MRS. ALDEN FISHER. FISH-ER. JACK RHODE moved from the ward some time ago but his friends will be happy to hear that he is the proud father of a little baby girl. PRES. ERNEST A. NELSON was the speaker at the Gleaner-M Gleaner-M Men fireside Sunday evening at the home of MERLYN EDWARD. ED-WARD. TED JORGENSEN'S Sunday School class enjoyed one swell party last Friday night. After a super dinner of chili and all the trimmings the class went, roller skating. Newest recruit into the Primary Pri-mary group is MRS. ANNIS ANNIS who will teach the Zions Boys. The Primary children chil-dren enjoyed a treat at Primary on Wednesday. As a fitting climax to the birthday penny drive each child was given a cupcake with a candle placed on it. The older classes enjoyed en-joyed a Valentine square dance.. |
