Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond By Leah Bond "Children's day" is what it will be at Church on Sunday evening, for it is then that the Primary children will present their annual Sunday night program pro-gram for the parents. All of the Primary children from the tiny ones to the graduating classes will participate and much time and effort has been spent to make this program an interesting one for all. Meeting will be at 5 p.m. . . . Sunday, May 8, the time for Sunday evening services will be changed to 6:30. Please note this change. ... They've been having a gay get-together get-together over at the S. L. Browns, 1839 McClelland. Son Wesley and his wife and child have been visiting here from their home in Montana. . . . Mrs. Aram Plowgian, 1169 Wilmington Wilming-ton Ave. has been on a simply wonderful trip this spring. With a group of friends she visited LDS Temples at St. George, Manti, and Mesa, Arizona. She also visited Hoover Dam and toured Zions and Grand Canyon. . . . They're keeping the Aaronic Priesthood busy with various tasks. On Monday they packaged macaroni for the welfare project ... On Sunday evening in the Relief Society room, members of the MIA special interest group listened to a talk by Lowell Ben-nion Ben-nion . . . Sunday will be fast day with fast meeting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at 1:30 p.m. is stake baptismal day . . Marilyn Storrs has joined the ranks of newlyweds. She was married just a week ago . . . 'Twas good to see Norma Crowther back visiting our ward. Holladay is home for her now. |
