Show Am. Legion Post 65 lly Carl Springman Tho Drum and Bugle Corps' met at the Rock Castle,' Kay 12. The meeting was more on the order of business. Thoy did get in a little practice after the meeting, however. A parade is scheduled for May Hi, in Sugar House at 7 p. in. Miss Sugar House will be chosen on that date. Comander D. T. McDonald was present at the meeting and requested that the Drum corps participate in the program at Memory Grove on May 30, at 4 p. m. Manager Keith Bateman suggested sug-gested that the corps attend the district convention to be held at Murray, May the 28th, and that each member be a delagate of Post G5. Commander D. T. McDonald stated that tickets are now available for the dinner- at the Rock Castle June 12, and also for the stag party at Fairmount Park, June 2G. Other activities, whereby the corps could realize some money for the treasury, were also discussed. dis-cussed. Election of officers is to be held May 15, at the regular meeting. Don't forget open house every Saturday afternoon at the Rock Castle. |
