It seems there's a lot of tinkering around in East Mill Creek Stake these days, but they seem to accomplish things anyway. any-way. And I mean the Stake play, "The Tinker", starring that master of all tinkers, Joe Jensen. With him are talented thespians Claudia Blodgett, Joe Bentley, Ruth Bloomfield, Aaron Deem, David Jeppson, Marilyn Hodgen. The portals unfold Friday and Saturday, 25th and 26th, at Rosecrest Ward. The time is 8:00; the price, nothing. Nothing Noth-ing isn't what you get in return, though. Go and see. In Wilford stake, stupendous functions are Gold and Green Balls, two no less! Friday, Jan. 25th, at the Union Building for $1.75 a, couple, with Max Eng-man's Eng-man's orchestra, a queen will be chosen from the Gleaners of the various wards. There will be dancing too! The other ball is for teenagers teen-agers on February 2. It'll be at Grandview Ward free of charge. There have been some changes made : Grandview Ward has a new Bishopric and Kenwood has a new Sunday School Superin-tendency. Superin-tendency. In Grandview Ward the new bishop is Aggie Aylett. His capable counselors are Daniel Dan-iel Davis and Elias Strong. In Kenwood Ward it is Paul Callis as Supt. with Steve White and Clayne Sandstrom assistants. |
