Show Physician Takes Suite in New Office Building Latest member of the medical profession to choose Sugar House for a location is Dr. S. Wayne Smith who recently opened open-ed a suite in the newly remodeled remod-eled Granite Mart Bldg. Dr. Smith who is in the general practice of medicine and surgery sur-gery was previously located for several montns in downtown Salt Lake, and before that had served for 18 months with the government in the procurement and assignment service at Wen-dover. Wen-dover. A native of Cache Valley, Dr. smith attended the University of Utah before going east for his medical education. He was graduated from Rush medical college in Chicago in 1940, and served his internship in Portland, Port-land, Ore. He practiced in Wayne Cnuntv for about a ye.ir and one half before entering government govern-ment service, ana later was on the medical staff of Geneva steel. Dr. Smith and his wife, the former Miss Leota Thomas of Malad, Ida., reside at 2072 Westminster West-minster Ave., but they have purchased pur-chased a new home at 1708 Bryan Bry-an into which they will move shortly. They have two daughters, daugh-ters, Sharon Lee, three and one half years old. and Annette, eight months old.' |
