Show Cocker Spaniel Club Plans Shoiv Featuring discussions on the coming dog show and election of officers, the first annual meeting meet-ing of the Utah Cocker Spaniel club has been scheduled for Saturday. Sat-urday. Feb. 8. 7:30 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Laura Clark, 549 Stringham Ave. Mr. Paul Olsen, first vice president of the organization, or-ganization, will- officiate. The topic of dog shows is especially es-pecially interesting to the club at this time, as it is sponsoring the exhibition at the State Fair grounds early this summer. Definite Def-inite plans are pending the outcome out-come of the meeting Saturday evening. Officers of the club include: Mrs. L. M. Wilson, president; Mr .Paul Olsen, first vice president; presi-dent; Mrs. G. M. Jones, second vice president: Mr. Donald Hall, recording secretary: Mr. Paul Schulze. corresponding secretary; secre-tary; Miss Bebe Wilson, treasurer; treasur-er; and Mrs. Laura Clark, Mrs. Russell Robinson and Mr. Thomas Thom-as Imley. directors. Meetings of the Utah Cocker Spaniel club are held on the second Saturday of each month. All dog lovers are welcome to attend the meetings, according to Mrs. Wilson. Hostesses for the meeting will be Mrs. Pricilla Johnson and her daughters, Barbara Bar-bara and Joan. |
