Show Out East Mill Creek Way . . . By Mary Lythgoe ARLEEN NESS is in the news this week. And why? Because Be-cause she's got the bug, too, and is leaving on a mission to the southern states. Her farewell will be on March 25, or in other words, Easter Sunday at W81-ford W81-ford Waird. Her program should be extra special mainly because there are so many extra special people participating. AUDREY PETERSON, BISHOP BLAINE LUBLIN, LEEMAN PERKINS, MARILYN STEWART, RHEA FERRE BAILEY, CLIFFORD CUMMINGS, BISHOP SIDNEY HORMAN, AND PATRIARCH ELDRED SMITH are Arleen's illustrious friends. We think Arleen is pretty illustrious herself her-self (so talented and so pretty!), so we're wishing her all the good things that go with being a missionary. The time is 5 p.m., and Arleen is anxious for YOU to be there. All those interested in Temple Tem-ple excursions are in for a treat, because one is being planned right now for all those in EMC who are eligible. MRS. ALIDA KOHNHORST and MRS. MARGARET MAR-GARET LUND have the plans, and those interested should call them at 7-3027 or 6-2909. Ninth of April is the departure date; Manti, St. George, and Mesa Temples will be included in the visit, with stops and stays at Panguitch and Grand Canyon. CLAIRE WILDE and BOB JENSEN are two teachers who believe in fun. They joined farces last week to show the members of their respective Mutual Mu-tual and Sunday School classes a good time. The result was entertainment and enthusiasm at Wasatch Springs (where I hear tell they've added water to the chlorine). Cute girls wh0 escaped drowning were CHARLOTTE CHAR-LOTTE WATSON, KAREN MAXFIELD, JOYCE MOSS, RANEE NIELSEN, ANN WOR-THEN, WOR-THEN, MARY HILL, SUZANNE JENKINS, CAROL ORULLIAN, MARILYN SHARPLES, NORMA NOR-MA LARSENI and GEORGIA BERNARDS. |
