YOU'D BE SURPRISED at the number of people who are ama- LAST WEEK'S ANNIVERSARY ANNIVER-SARY issue of The Bulletin seemed to be well received by our readers. The other day we met Jerry Linschoten, a resident of Holladay, who commended the paper in detail. He was able to quote, verbatim almost, many things we'had written especially especial-ly about the prison site ' state park. Jerry chided Eud Brain that he (Jerry) hadn't seen Bud's Men's store narao in the doubte-page spread entitled. "All Roads Lead to. Sugar House." (Note: Bud had placed an ad in another part of the paper.) Surprisingly Sur-prisingly enough, there were many readers who told us how carefully they had read that li.t. teur msiorians on sugar Mouse and points surrounding. Among those whom we contacted last week on material for our 16th anniversary issue were Mrs. Fern Smoot Hansen and Scott Linnell, two grand cooperative people who know more about certain "phases of Sugar House history than we ever will. CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET? Did you know that Sugar House will have a new retail store opening soon on 11th East, just north of 21st South? We'll be telling you the whole story soon, but for your information, we have heard that they'll be handling han-dling things of interest to the women. |
