Show S. H. Girl Heads Youth Week Program in Utah The Utah Youth Council, representative of the youth of the major cultural, religious, educational groups of this area, and their adult advisory council, coun-cil, headed by Rt. Rev. Arthur W. Moulton, Episcopal bishop of Utah, announce their selection of the World Youth Week chairman chair-man for 1946: Miss Mary Rose Allen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George A. Allen of Sugar House, according to R. Scott Bleak, council chairman. "World Youth Week, March 21 to 28, has ben set aside by 58 freedom-loving nations for the observance of the part played by the youth of the world in gaining gain-ing the peace, and as an expression expres-sion of their hopes for permanent perma-nent peace and freedom for all peoples," Miss Allen says, "and Utah must come to the front among states in supporting this expression." The second annual youth week observance in Utah will this year also include a weekend week-end conference of delegates from various parts of the state, at which expression will oe given on ideas for the defeat of juvenile delinquency by providing pro-viding constructive activity from among the youths themselves; them-selves; a keener sense of responsibility respon-sibility towards democracy; and better world citizenship and international in-ternational fellowship. The conference con-ference will be held in Salt Lake March 23 and 24.
