Show Sugar House Goal Set In Red Feather Drive On the basis of early reports, D. Ford Crandall, general chairman chair-man of the Community Chest fund drive, predicted this week that residents of Sugar House and Salt Lake will make possible the first successful Red Feather drive in five years. "Under the direction of Blaine H. Ockey, indications are that volunteer workers in Sugar House will succeed in achieving their goal this year," Mr. Crandall Cran-dall said. The total Chest goal this year has been set at $335,365, In Sugar House Mr. Ockey said that $4,650 has been set as the goal for he and his volunteer volun-teer workers to raise this year. "Wo not only expect to achieve this goal," Mr. Ockey said, "but we anticipate going over the goal with a bang." He said that he and his volunteer workers were out to bring to Sugar House the "Red Feather Oscar" that is going to be awarded to the division achieving the highest high-est percentage of goal. "Sugar House can win the Oscar if we all make a minimum donation to the Chest fund this year," Mr. Ockey said., "And a donation to the Chest is the biggest bargain for the protection protec-tion of you and your family that is being offered today." |
