Show 'Out East Mill Greek Way' By Frnnces Neff for production toward the end of April, ('liiirp IKion is direc-ing direc-ing the play. Stovp Sti';iw is taking the . leading role, playing the part of Tim, first as a young man, then as a middle-aged man, and lastly, as a grandfather. The play is in three parts, and the part of Tun is the only one carried car-ried through all three acts. The leading woman in the play is Barbara Woodhcad. Besides these two main parts, there are about 20 other , character parts. Through the grapevine we have found out about the en- gagement of Grant Weiler. Continued on Page Five A dance is being planned by the student body of Olympus Junior High School to take Jilace Friday, March 28, in the school gyni- This dance is unique in that the parents of the students are being given a special invitation to attend the dance and see the way in which it is conducted. The theme of the dance will be St. Patrick's Day. Refreshments will be served. The next dance of the Mill Creek Dancing club will take place on Friday, April 4, in the with Bishop LeRoy Erickson, and Scymore Taylor, in the new bishopric. Mr. Glade left a couple of weeks ago, but has made sev eral visits back to Salt Lake and East Mill Creek, and we expect to see more of him at least until un-til he gets his family moved up there too. A play is now under preparation prepara-tion in the Mutual of East Mill Creek and Evergreen Wards, the title being, "It Shall Keep Thee." The play will be ready East Mill Creek ward amusement amuse-ment hall starting at 9 p. in. Being so close to April 1, you can expect plenty of "tom-fool-ery." Mr. and Mrs. William Beesley will be host and hostess for this April party. The Sunday evening service, March 30, will be presented entirely en-tirely by members of the East Mill Creek ward who are of Mutual Mu-tual age. A chorus of M-Men and Gleaners has been organized organ-ized and they will provide the music for the evening, along with a trio from the Gleaner class. Talks will be given by members mem-bers of the Beehive, Sr. Scout, Scout, and Junior Girl classes. The theme of the evening is "Testimony" and experiences and testimonies of pioneer men and women will be featured. The presentation of "The Boy Who Discovered Easter" by Ruth Vine Tyler, and Evelyn Neff, in the East Mill Creek ward, had to be postponed from last Tuesday, to this coming com-ing Tuesday, April 1: This program pro-gram will be presented on April 1, with Mrs. Tyler doing the reading, and Mrs. Neff providing provid-ing the music for this lovely reading. The vacancy left by Earl J. Glade Jr. in the East Mill Creek bishopric, when he moved to Boise, has now been filled. William Wil-liam D. Callister, Neffs Lane, has been appointed to suceed ' Mr. Glade, and he will work East Mill Creek . . . , (Continued from Page 3) Further details will have to await a more sure source than the so-called "grape-vine." At a P. T. A. meeting held pus Jr. High School, Bishops Erickson and Bailey were making mak-ing quite a commotion. About every five minutes, one or the othec of them would leave the building and then come back. People finally became so curious as to the reason for these departures de-partures that Bishop Bailey finally had to confess. The two bishops had been taking turns going out to the car radios to see how the U of U vs Kentucky game was coming out. As an added note to the Evergreen Ev-ergreen Ward Fair and Bazaar, which incidently raised more than enough money needed lor that ward's welfare assessment, Beverly Debenham Cannon won the title of queen for the fair.
