Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond Babies held the spotlight Sunday when they made their first appearance to ho Riven a name. The FRED BABBEL'S little girl was given the name JULENE by her father. DR. and MRS. JOE ALLEN named their baby girl VICKIE JO. The son of MR. and MRS. ROBERT JENSEN was named GERALD. MR. and MRS. j WILLIAM IIARWOOD selected STEPHEN WALTER for their I young son. The DARRELL HERZOG'S named their baby SANDRA SAN-DRA LYNN. It's a baby girl for the LAWRENCE DEANS, 1007 Garfield Ave. She has four sisters anxiously awaiting her arrival home from the hospital . . . The JACK CHASES have moved from their J.'ith East home and will be missed by their many frids . . . CLARK FAWSON'S missionary farewell was a thrilling experience expe-rience for him. It brought out a fine crowd of friends and relatives. rela-tives. Clark's coworkers at O. P. Skaggs gave him a party and presented him with a lovely camera that will come in mighty handy on his mission. His parents gave an open house for him after the farewell at the Fawson home, 1222 Westminster. . . . RUSS and ELVA ANDERSON are off on a little vacation trip. They went over to Ruby Lake, Nev., to try the fishing . . . MRS. ADA CROMAR presented her piano students in a recital Monday evcl.ing in the chapel . . . On the "sick list" this week are MRS. GERRIT RIP who is ill in the hospital. NORRINE McFARLAND has been ill for the past two weeks and her children have ben "under the weather." JANIS had the measles on top of several other ills. . . The flu bug had A(RLENE JEFFS laid low for a few days also . . . RALPH WHEELER will be the next missionary and June 20 will be his big night . . . RAY WETZEL is at present in Springfield, 111., and his parents tell that he is enjoying his mission thoroughly . . . MAJRIANNE ROSS is off for Girl Scout camp for a week. Her mother, MRS. ED ROSS, 2006 South 14th East, just recently returned re-turned from a short trip . . . Pier friends in the ward will be happy to hear that THEA SCHINDLER was among the graduates of the Salt Lake General Hospital at exercises held in Kingsbury Hall Thursday evening. Thea, daughter of MR. and MRS. A. J. SCHINDLER, . 1900 Kenwood St., formerly lived in the ward at 19-18 Douglas St. |
