Just everybody was there . . . munching on the super barbecued barbe-cued hamburgers, chatting with friends and yelping as the fights and wrestles took place. What fun. Saw Mr. and Mrs. Dave Wood" with LoeAnn and Lauren Laur-en waiting in line for the food. Mr. and Mrs. Dong Brammer and Dickie and Danny were there, too. Milt Weiienmann was busy serv- I ing as Em Cee for the ring events, so his wife Marie and her sister, Jean Malnistroin, kept company with the G. A. Weilenmanns. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Anderson talked with friends Guess everybody was as pleased about Bishop Golden Haight's winning the combination combina-tion radio and television set as they would have been had they won it themeslves . . . well almost. al-most. Stu Jardine took home a ra-dio ra-dio from the carnival fun at Uie new chapel Tuesday night, too. Lorin Folland was also a prize winner. A two-wheel bike was his catch. Wednesday night's carnival brought Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Rawson from Sugar House Ward out to see how another anoth-er ward does it. Mrs. ben Wallace couldn't get her little lit-tle Kristine fo aret off the little lit-tle car concession. Mrs. H. A. Sorensen brought along her friend Jane Grant who is a former Salt Laker visiting here from Denver for a few days. . . . The Ed Miles fam- ily were there, all five of them . . . ditto the Harlan Clarks. . . . The Hack Millers were in on some of the fun. Tacoma bound . . . and a plenty exciting two weeks. Carolyn Car-olyn and DeLanna Pollard are on their way for a trip of a lifetime. life-time. They've been planning for this fun for weeks. These two teenage daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Pollard, 2156 Berkeley, are gOing to be the houseguests of the Charles Hartman family during their Tacoma visit. The Hartmans have made plans for clam-bakes, boating, swimming and sightseeing sight-seeing already for the two. |
