Show Cancer Center Closed in August The AUGUST detection center cen-ter of the American Cancer Society So-ciety has been CANCELLED. The next registration day for the centers will be held September 14, at 177 Motor Avenue. Any persons wishing examination exam-ination during August are urged to contact their family physicians, physi-cians, without delay. THE FOLLOWING ARE SYMPTOMS TO WATCH FOR: 1. Any sore that does not heal particularly about the tongue, mouth or lip. 2. A painless lump or thickening, thicken-ing, especially in the breast, lip or tongue. 3. Irregular bleeding or discharge dis-charge from the nipple or any natural body opening. 4. Progressive change in the color or size of a wart, mole or birth mark. 5. Persistent indigestion. fi. Persistent hoarseness, un- explained cough, or difficulty in I swallowing. |
