Show Rotary Hears About Mexico Colored movie films of Mexico were shown memoers ot tne Sugar House Rotary club at their regular luncheon meeting Thursday at Weasku Inn. Vern Sharp, president of the Inter-American Inter-American Council of Utah, who took the pictures on a trip to the neighboring republic last fall, exhibited the film and gave a running narration of his trip. Previously, Robert G. Hardy, secretary of the council, dis- cussed the Latin-American situ- -ation and pointed out. the importance im-portance of the southern republics repub-lics in the coming social and economic eco-nomic picture. The meeting was in charge of Rotary Pres. Sam Leaver, and Holger Larsen introduced the guests. The club voted to accept ac-cept Floyd Olson of the O. K. Rubber Welders in membership, and T. L. Cannon of The Bulletin, Bul-letin, voted to membership at the last meeting was introduced. Mr.- Leaver announced a directors' direc-tors' meeting for next Tuesday evening at his home. |
