Show C. of C Plans Inaugural New Officers to be Installed in Ceremonies Nov. 21st A number of distinguished guests, officials and leaders of the city and state, will be in attendance when new officers of the Sugar House Chamber of Commrece are installed at ceremonies on Wednesday, Nov. 21. This will be the first formal installation of new officers offi-cers in the history of the chamber, and President Presi-dent John C. Barnes has announced an outstanding out-standing program to usher in the organization's organiza-tion's new year of activity. The affair will be held at Weasku Inn and the full membership of the chamber is urged to be present promptly at 12:15 p.m. to greet the visitors and participate in the ceremonies ceremon-ies which will follow the -luncheon. Mr. Parnes requests that! every member make note of the date and let nothing interfere with his attendance at this meeting which will be something entirely new in chamber history. A specially designated installing officer of-ficer has charge of the inauguration of the new chamber leaders w'nese term of office of-fice will start with this meeting. The new officers, named by the new board of directors chosen at last month's membership member-ship meeting are: Horace A. Sorensen, president; presi-dent; Horace B. Richards, first vice president; presi-dent; Samuel J. Nicholes, second vice president: presi-dent: and llolger M. Larsen, re-elected sec-retay-treasurtr. Holdover members of the board are Mr. Barnes and Allen Seegmiller, retiring president and vice president, respectively, re-spectively, and G. Rodney Ashton: reelected board members are Mr. Richards, Mr. Larsen and Paul L. Pehrson, and new board members mem-bers are Mr. Sorensen, Mr. Nicholes and T. L- Cannon. At the coming meeting Mr. Barnes will give a review of the chamber's work during the past year and report on numerous projects proj-ects now underway, and the new president will give a preview of chamber activities for the coming year and disclose some highly interesting information on a number of im- portant new developments now taking shape for this area.
