Show Large Store Opens Doors Southeasterners have noted with interest the opening of the House of Fantasy, "Living Room Specialists," at its new location in the Villa Theater building. 309G Highland Drive. Formerly located at 2(S5 East Fifth South, the well knwn furniture firm has Joined the great number of businesses who have sought sites in the important im-portant southeast area. Co-owners of the firm are Gene R. Dyer, Howard G. Wah-len, Wah-len, and Walter Johnson. Mr. Wahlen is general manager, and Mr. Dyer and Mr, Johnson are office manager and sales manager, man-ager, respectively. Mr. Dyer also serves as credit manager for the company. Quality is a Fact A slogan of the firm, according accord-ing to Mr. Dyer is "Quality a Fact, not a Fantasy." In its policy of following this slogan he stated, the store offers its 1 patrons highest quality merchandise mer-chandise at prices they can afford af-ford to pay in custom built or other types of home furnishings furnish-ings The House of Fantasy, Mr. Dyer said, will furnish a home from floor to ceiling. Two interior in-terior decorators are included on the company staff. Television The firm carries a complete line of Hoffman and Admiral; television and radio sets, as well as Westinghouse and Coolerator j appliances. Television is shown at the store every night until ten o'clockNexcept Sunday. Free I home television demonstrations are also arranged for those desiring de-siring them. The three owners are all veterans vet-erans of World War II. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Wahlen are southeast residents, while Mr. Dyer, who at present is living in Stadium Village, will move to this area when housing accommodations accom-modations can be arranged. |
