Show BIRD'S ARE MAX'S FRIENDS Some persons.laboring under the misapprehension that birds do more harm than good to fruits and gardens, have been spreading poison and killing off hundreds of the feathered songsters song-sters in the south and eastern sections of the city, it has been reported to city officials. Poison Poi-son should be used only with the greatest of care when used at all, and so far as saving gardens gar-dens and trees from their depredations, dep-redations, experts agree that the little harm they do is far outweighed out-weighed by the good they perform per-form in killing off insects, worms and bugs. |
